This week’s fresh, bright and budding spring, helps us forget the PNW's dark days, sort of like childbirth. I've sequestered the divas (photo above) until the eagle’s hunting season is over, although I will open the pen on occasion. I feel bad for them all cooped up. I mowed the lawn yesterday and dumped the clippings into the pen. They were delighted. I’ve noticed more vivid eggs when they get their greens. The Marans are currently on sabbatical - haven’t seen a chocolate brown egg for a week – I hope they get their act together before Easter.
